YARD SIGN CAUSE CONTROVERSY IN GORDO
A Gordo woman has put a warning sign in her yard that has pet-owning neighbors concerned. But the sign owner says she’s tried every other route. The sign reads, “Please keep your dogs home. I’ll shoot.” The complaintant tells WVUA the sign is directed toward her neighbors, the Perrigan’s, who have numerous dogs. Rickey Perrigan says three mother dogs were dropped off at his house and have now each had their litters. Neighbors say the Perrigan’s dogs are always on the loose, causing problems for them and their own pets. The sign owner also explains that the sign reads “I will shoot,” not I will shoot the dogs. One thing the two sides do seem to agree on is getting the eleven puppies and two adults good homes. The Perrigan’s have eleven puppies and two adult dogs free to a good home.
