WRECK ON VETERANS MEMORIAL PARKWAY

Tuscaloosa police and fire rescue are investigating a fiery multi-vehicle accident.

It happened on Veterans Memorial Parkway, near American Christian Academy on Wednesday afternoon.

One of the cars had a gas leak after the accident, and that car caught on fire, but fire crews were able to put it out.

The driver of the car was able to get out of the vehicle safely.

At least two people involved were taken to the hospital.

There’s no word on what caused the accident or the victims involved.
