WORK EQUIPMENT CATCHES FIRE AT THE DOWNS

A large fireball erupted after a track hoe caught fire Tuesday afternoon.

It happened at The Downs, across from Bent Tree on Hargrove Road.

Tuscaloosa Fire and Rescue said a water contractor hit a gas line, but that there have been no injuries reported.

There was a little damage to the house, police said.
