WOMAN KILLED IN TRAFFIC ACCIDENT NEAR PRICHARD
PRICHARD, Ala. (AP) – Police say a woman was killed after collision with a pickup truck in Alabama.
49-year-old Tracy Rutland Sheffield of Mount Vernon was killed Saturday night when the vehicle she was driving left the roadway, struck a guardrail, then re-entered highway and was hit by the truck.
Police say Sheffield was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash occurred about 10 miles north of Prichard.
Alabama state troopers are continuing to investigate.
