Woman facing attempted murder charges after Monday morning shooting

A man is recovering and a woman is facing attempted murder charges in the wake of a shooting this morning in Coaling.
The Tuscaloosa County Sheriff’s Office said deputies were dispatched around 8 a.m. to the site of the shooting on Dudley Road in Coaling. The victim was shot once, and authorities said his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Witnesses said they saw 34-year-old Christina Michelle Miller shoot the victim. Miller was arrested and charged with one count of attempted murder and being a person prohibited from possessing a firearm. She was taken to the Tuscaloosa County Jail.
