The Winterboro Bulldogs were at Pickens County for a matchup with the Tornadoes on Friday night in the second round of the AHSAA Class 1A State Playoffs, and this one was all Pickens County. The Tornadoes won the game 38-16 to move on to the third round of the playoffs.

The Tornadoes got it started early after Winterboro couldn’t handle the opening kickoff, which Pickens County would recover.

The fumble recovery gave Pickens County the ball with first and goal and they would capitalize as quarterback Javion Belle found the end zone on a QB keeper, as Pickens County makes it 6-0.

The Tornadoes would score twice more in the first quarter on an Antonio Coleman touchdown which made it 14-0, and then another Javion Belle QB keeper to go up 20-0.

Pickens will head to Decatur for a matchup with Decatur Heritage Christian Academy this upcoming Friday.
