WESTLAWN MIDDLE STUDENTS CELEBRATE ATTENDANCE

It was all about good attendance today at Westlawn Middle School as teachers and students held their 2016 Attendance Rally.

It’s a time school officials remind students and their parents how important it is to go to school every day, along with keeping parents familiar with the Tuscaloosa City Schools’ attendance policy, viewable here.

“This attendance rally is to invite our parents to show how much we care about them and thank them for sending their kids to school,” said Assistant Principal Jacqueline White-Weatherspoon.

September is Attendance Awareness Month throughout the country.
