With everything from carnival rides and yummy food, the 2019 West Alabama State Fair is sure to provide a great time for every one of all ages.

It is a fundraising event for the United Cerebral Palsy of West Alabama.

A portion of the proceeds will go directly to UCP.

Thousands of people come out each year to witness the fun and excitement.

“I want to get on that ride that like spin around really fast and the floor drop and it feels like you can’t move. It is really exhilarating,” Chase Herndon, fair attendee said.

In addition to the rides, the fair hosts nightly shows.

People had the opportunity to watch a live tiger show Wednesday night.

The West Alabama Fair will be open until Nov. 11.

Admission prices are $3 Monday through Thursday and $5 Friday through Sunday.
