TUSCALOOSA, AL- In light of COVID-19, PARA had to figure out a safe way for Santa Claus and his reindeer to kick off the holiday season.

On Dec. 7, West Alabama will be having its 45th annual West Alabama “Reverse” Christmas parade.

There will be some changes this year, including location. The “drive-thru” style Christmas parade will take place in Bowers Park.

This year’s floats, decorated vehicles and bands will remain stationary while viewers drive through the park to see the parade.
