The University of Alabama is encouraging fans to line up and get into the stadium earlier for the Alabama-LSU game because of increased security.

Kickoff in Bryant-Denny Stadium is at 2:30 p.m., but Alabama officials suggest anyone wanting to see kickoff should be in line no later than 1 p.m. Gates will open at 11:30 p.m. to help ensure fans can get into the stadium as quick as possible.

Be prepared to remove everything from your pockets and any pinned-on buttons or larger jewelry when passing through the metal detectors, and officials recommend any non-essentials be left at home or in vehicles.
