WALMART WILL GIVE EMPLOYEES EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES
In an attempt to entice college and high school students to work for them, Walmart is now offering employees the chance to get an education.
As a part of its Live Better U initiative, Walmart will help its employees get degrees and certificates in fields ranging from computer science to cybersecurity for just $1 a day. High school students who work at Walmart will be able to earn free college credit as well as free SAT and ACT prep through a partner network.
Walmart hopes that these benefits will attract more young workers and grow their employment in a tight job market.
