WALKER COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE INVESTIGATES TRASH THROWN IN WATERWAY

Thanks to the Walker County Sheriff’s Office, there’s a lot less trash floating around and the people responsible are facing arrest.

On Thursday, the department pulled 17 trash bags out of the river and posted photos of the garbage to Facebook, along with a statement warning littering won’t be tolerated.

In an update posted today, Chief Deputy Anthony Leach said he’s gotten arrest warrants for the four people potentially responsible.
