VEHICLE SHOT INTO, SUSPECT AT LARGE

TUSCALOOSA – Investigators are searching for 22-year-old James Freeman after a vehicle was shot into at a convenience store in Tuscaloosa.

The shooting happened around 2:15 a.m. Sunday at Kangaroo Express on East Skyland Boulevard.

According to the victim, he and the shooter got into a verbal altercation which lead to the suspect firing into the passenger side door of the victim’s Silver Buick Enclave. The victim told investigators he and his girlfriend were inside at the time.

Witnesses at the scene identified the shooter as 22-year-old James Freeman.

Investigators obtained a Discharging a Firearm in Occupied Vehicle warrant on Freeman. But, they have yet to locate him. If you have information that can help authorities find Freeman call Tuscaloosa Co. Metro Homicide Unit at  (205) 464-8640.
