VA HOSPITAL HOSTS TOWN HALL

Tuscaloosa’s VA Medical Center hosted a town hall meeting for veterans this morning.

Veterans and their family members were invited to discuss their health care plans, and their overall satisfaction with the VA. Staff was on-hand helping veterans with claims and any other questions, too.

VA Public Affairs Office Damon Stevenson said the meetings help the medical center stay so successful.

“It’s a great avenue for them to come,” he said. “If they seem to have been having difficulty getting answers to their questions, it’s a great forum for them to get answers directly from our leadership.”

Town hall meetings are held quarterly, and veterans are always encouraged to attend.
