Update: Man charged with attempted murder in Creekwood Village shooting

Tuscaloosa investigators have arrested a man in connection with an early-morning shooting Tuesday at Creekwood Village apartments.

Marquis Rayone Brown, 40, is charged with attempted murder after a man was found shot multiple times around 3 a.m. at the apartment complex.

The victim was taken to DCH Regional Medical Center, where he remains in critical condition.

Brown remains in the Tuscaloosa County Jail on no bond because his probation on previous charges was revoked.
