Tuscaloosa Police say they have charged the man accused of attempting to rob someone at Creekwood Village Wednesday night with the murder of his brother.

 Police said today that Zhamelle Ware was charged with felony murder in the death of his brother, Zhalil, after he was killed by the attempted robbery victim during a shootout. He’s also facing charges of attempted murder, shooting into an occupied vehicle, shooting into an occupied dwelling and two counts of first-degree robbery.

Ware will be booked into the Tuscaloosa County Jail with a $255,000 bond after he is released from the hospital. Ware was shot in the hip during the shootout, and the robbery victim was shot in the leg.
