UNEXPECTED HOUSE GUESTS -SUSPECTS CRASH STOLEN TRUCK INTO TUSCALOOSA HOME

One Tuscaloosa woman is especially thankful this holiday season, thankful to be alive…after a vehicle plowed into her home Tuesday morning.

Thankfully, Cassandra Collins was not inside her home on Willow Lane in west Tuscaloosa when the unexpected visitors showed up.
Tuscaloosa County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Josh Hastings told WVUA 23 the crash occurred about 9:30 while deputies were in a pursuit with the white Toyota Tacoma.
Hastings said the truck was reported stolen and deputies also recovered a stolen gun from the vehicle.
Authorities have taken two suspects into custody.
Despite the fact that the occupants of the truck were committing a criminal act when they crashed into Collins’ home, she wishes them well this holiday season.

“I am so thankful I am okay and my dog Mackenzie is okay during this holiday season,” Collins said. “I am hoping they are okay as well. I know it was a bad thing, but I just pray they are okay. God is truly good.”
