UA STUDENTS TO E-TUTOR AREA KIDS FOR REMAINDER OF SCHOOL YEAR

Tuscaloosa County and Birmingham City Schools are set to offer tutoring sessions for the remainder of the school year.

University of Alabama students will hold 30 Zoom video conferences and telephone calls each week for the next five weeks. Each call will be focused on a specific grade level and subject, like third-grade reading or seventh-grade math.

More than 125 UA students from 30 states will serve on this team. They will partner with teachers to present fun and educational activities that tie into the educational packets students received to complete the year.
