TUSCALOOSA – Second-year University of Alabama law student Carter Spires was crowned winner of the TV game show “Jeopardy” two days in a row.

The UA Law School hosted a watch party for Spires on Wednesday evening to watch his second segment.

he and his fellow students watched while Spires answered three rounds of trivia questions, which ranged from topics in science to potpourri.

“It’s really awesome,” Spires said of this fellow students watching. “I’ve been aggressively promoting on social media that I’m going to be on the show and there’s been a lot of support so that’s been really nice.”

“Actually having everybody here, watching me and cheering, and boo-ing every time I don’t get a daily double, that’s been really, really nice.”

Spires will appear again on Jeopardy on Thursday at 3:30 p.m., where he will be going for his third win in a row.
