UA HONORS STUDENTS SPRUCE UP ENGLEWOOD ELEMENTARY

More than 250 University of Alabama Honors College freshman and upper-class leaders are beginning the new semester serving the community.

We caught up with Outdoor Action students working Wednesday at Englewood Elementary School, where they were busy painting indoors as well as creating an outdoor classroom and renovating the playground.

“We’ve really got an incredibly positive reaction, and they’ve been giving a lot of feedback,” said Ben Jackson, a UA sophomore from Birmingham.

The 2015 program is the 15th annual Alabama Action project organized and carried out by UA honors students.
