UA ADAPTING TO ONLINE, WILL PROVIDE VIRTUAL TOURS FOR PERSPECTIVE STUDENTS

The University of Alabama is working to adapt to a virtual way of teaching and conducting tours for perspective students.

Along with adapting more than 6,600 courses to online, UA is working to provide potential students with virtual tours of campus, since they can’t visit it for themselves right now.

“The model that we use for that is obviously changing,” UA President Stuart Bell said. “We’re providing a lot more online look, virtual tours of our campus to allow those students who would be visiting Tuscaloosa now but now not able to do that and of course we’re excited about those students along with our current students to return when it’s safe to do so”
