U.S. Surgeon General Speaks with Alabama Football Team

<p>Earlier this month, U.S. Surgeon General Vice Adm. Jerome Adams spoke with the University of Alabama football team on a video conference call. He had a clear message about navigating the risks associated with COVID-19.</p><p>“He said what I’m saying loud and clear to the players,” said head football coach Nick Saban on Monday. “You manage this for the safety of your family, you manage it for the safety of yourself in terms of how you practice all these things.”</p><p>Saban said his staff has done a good job with handling the situation.</p><p>Some other speakers who have met with Alabama football this offseason have included basketball star Michael Jordan and ESPN personality Stephen A. Smith.</p>
