TWO WORKERS SENT TO HOSPITAL AFTER ACCIDENT AT BRYANT-DENNY STADIUM

A construction accident at Bryant-Denny Stadium sent two workers to the hospital on Saturday.

The accident occurred when two beams fell and collided with a man lift being operated by the workers. The two men were momentarily trapped but were eventually extracted by Tuscaloosa Fire and Rescue before being sent to DCH Hospital, according to a press release from Tuscaloosa Fire and Rescue.

The men injured in the accident were working on renovations to the football stadium. The workers’ conditions are currently unknown.

The accident happened around 5 p.m.
