Tuscaloosa’s Celebration on the River announced for July 4

Celebration On The River Fireworks

Celebration on the River is back again July 4 at the Tuscaloosa Amphitheater, offering residents a family-friendly event featuring food, fun and most importantly, fireworks.

The event is free and open to the public, with activities beginning at 6 p.m. and fireworks blasting off at 9 p.m.

Here’s a full schedule of events:

  • 6 to 7:45 p.m.: City of Tuscaloosa Kid Zone, featuring games and activities for all ages
  • 6 to 7:45 p.m.: Music provided by DJ Tank
  • 7:55 to 8:55 p.m.: Tuscaloosa Symphony Orchestra performance
  • 9 p.m.: Fireworks begin

The Tuscaloosa Amphitheater’s clear bag policy is in effect for this event.

The city encourages attendees to park in the City of Tuscaloosa Intermodal Facility located on the corner of Seventh Street and 23rd Avenue. From there, attendees can take a free shuttle or walk to the Tuscaloosa Amphitheater.

Accessible parking is available in the amphitheater box office parking lot.
