Residents of Parkview Drive spent their Sunday cleaning up after a torrential downpour Saturday caused flooding in the area.

Water rose above porches and crept inside homes and cars along the street.

Sunday morning, the neighborhood assembled a cleanup crew who picked up scattered trash cans, signs and other debris littering the area.

Resident Kyle Cockell said the Parkview community got together to clean up debris.

“Once everything subsided, there was trash everywhere, so this morning we decided to get a crew together and clean up all the trash and put it back where it needs to be,” said Parkview resident Kyle Cockell.
