Marie Cobbs Dean has seen it all, and is looking forward to seeing even more.

She turns 104 Tuesday, but you’d never know it. She laughs as she shows off old pictures and talks of long-ago events now part of history.

“I was old when there was segregation, that was 1958” Dean says.

Her favorite invention? Television. But her lifelong loves are cooking and reading.

Dean spends every Sunday with her family at Beulah Baptist Church, where she’s been a member since 1944.

Her advice for living as long as she has is simply do right, and right will follow.
