TUSCALOOSA RESIDENTS FRUSTRATED WITH RECORD FALL TEMPERATURES

Reporting by WVUA 23’s Hannah Hammonds

It’s the second day of October and temperatures across Alabama have reached nearly 100 degrees.

Tuscaloosa residents are frustrated and looking for forward to cooler fall weather, but temperatures are not expected to cool down much in the coming weeks.

“I’m very tired of the heat, considering it’s October,” said Tuscaloosa resident Carsyn Long. “I am from Nebraska and it’s already starting to get a little chilly there, so I’m not used to it being 100 degrees.”

Residents are encouraged to drink plenty of water and stay out of the heat because it can become dangerous.
