TUSCALOOSA POLICE K9 RETIRES AFTER 10 YEARS OF SERVICE

Stryker

The Tuscaloosa Police Department announced the retirement of Stryker, a Belgian Malinois that worked in the Department’s K9 Division since early 2010.

Stryker came from Alabama Canine, a police dog training facility located in Northport. Stryker was trained in narcotics detection and tracking. He often worked with the West Alabama Narcotics Task Force on traffic stops and in schools.

Stryker will retire with his current handler and family.
