Tuscaloosa Police Athletic League holds annual Christmas giveaway

The Tuscaloosa Police Athletic League held its annual Christmas giveaway last Friday in honor of children in the program.

Children were asked to submit a Christmas wish list and once they did, PAL provided the children with some of the gifts listed.

Tuscaloosa Deputy Chief Sebo Sanders said it was a fantastic time for not only the children, but everyone involved.

“It’s going to be a joyful moment for them,” said Sanders. “It’s the season for giving and to see these kids get presents and have an early Christmas, that’s exciting for me and the PAL board.”

Among the various gifts included bicycles, games, footballs and basketballs along with other wrapped surprise gifts.
