The Tuscaloosa Police Department is returning home to their main office on Trevor S. Phillips Avenue this week after spending several years in a temporary home.

The facility went through a plethora of renovations, and officers were housed in the old Oak Hill High School building during the update process.

If you need to file a report with the department, speak with an officer or otherwise need in-person assistance, you can visit them at 3801 Trevor S. Phillips Ave., off 35th Street and Interstate 359.

The records division will reopen Sept. 7.
