TUSCALOOSA MAN KILLED IN WRECK NEAR GREENSBORO
Alabama State Troopers say a single-vehicle crash around 4:40 this morning killed one man and injured four others.
It happened on Alabama Highway 69 near the 115 mile marker, about 9 miles north of Greensboro.
Randall Carl Caine, 55, of Tuscaloosa was killed when the vehicle he was a passenger in left the road, overturned and struck several trees. Caine, who was not wearing a seat belt, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver, Carlos Jerman Powell, 27, of Cottondale was transported to UAB Hospital in Birmingham for treatment. Curtis Powell, 31, Talina Howze, 33, and a 17-year-old, all of Tuscaloosa, were transported to DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa for treatment.
