TUSCALOOSA MAN DIES AFTER BEAR CREEK ROAD WRECK SATURDAY

A single-vehicle wreck Saturday evening on Bear Creek Road less than a mile south of Tuscaloosa killed a man who was a passenger in the vehicle.

Brian Lee Swindle, 46, of Tuscaloosa died after his vehicle left the road, struck a ditch and overturned. Swindle, who was not wearing a seat belt, was transported to DCH Regional Medical Center, where he died.

The driver, Michael Hunter Boyd, 24, of Tuscaloosa and another passenger were not injured in the wreck.

State Troopers are investigating the wreck.
