Tuscaloosa, AL – The city of Tuscaloosa is hosting a football watch party Saturday, Sept. 14 in downtown Tuscaloosa’s Government Plaza.

The event is free to the public and will feature a 16-by-9 foot LED screen for fans to view the game. Food trucks will be on-site, and the entertainment district will be in effect. Blankets, chairs, food and non-alcoholic drinks are allowed but tents, grills and alcoholic beverages are prohibited.

Attendees can purchase alcohol at nearby downtown bars and restaurants and bring outside food and non-alcoholic drinks into the District, including onto the Plaza.

The University of Alabama football team kicks off against South Carolina at 2:30 p.m. Saturday. Viewing begins at 1 p.m. and will last until the game is over.
