TUSCALOOSA HONORING OFFICERS DURING NATIONAL POLICE WEEK

Police Week

Monday was the beginning of National Police Week and many people are looking for ways to honor officers everywhere.

Tuscaloosa is lighting up blue to recognize and honor officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty and for those that continue to protect citizens.

A new billboard has been put up on 15th Street in memory of fallen Officer Dornell Cousette, who was shot and killed last year in Tuscaloosa.

You can post your appreciation for law enforcement officers online using the hashtag, #NationalPoliceWeek.
