Tuscaloosa feeling the holiday spirit

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas here at the Tuscaloosa Public Library as people enjoyed their annual holiday open house. People met local authors, worked on crafts enjoyed refreshments, and even got to get their picture made in front of a green screen. People were able to meet father Christmas and look at some of the unique antiques around the house. This was only one of the five historic locations that were open for the public to enjoy. This is an annual holiday event that for some, stands out from most. Next stop, Stillman college. The choir held their Christmas candlelight concert and it was a full house.
You heard traditional pieces such as the famous “Joy to the World” and “Silent Night”. The chair of the fine arts department Luvada Harrison says this is their little gift to Tuscaloosa.
