Tuscaloosa County Commission passes Fiscal Year 2022 budget
The Tuscaloosa County Commission passed its more than $118 million Fiscal Year 2022 budget Wednesday.
The budget funds general government services, public safety and roads and bridges, and also includes funding for outside agencies and a cost-of-living adjustment for employees.
“The Commission is pleased to pass this year’s balanced budget ahead of the Oct. 1 deadline,” said Probate Judge Rob Robertson in a statement. “As we continue to work through this pandemic, it is vital to have a sound budget that meets the critical needs of Tuscaloosa County.”
