TUSCALOOSA CITY SCHOOLS IN NEED OF MORE TEACHERS
Tuscaloosa City Schools are in need of more teachers, especially math, science and special education instructors.
TCS Superintendent Dr. Mike Daria said that finding a special needs teacher has proven to be a difficult task.
“Special education has been a challenge for us, so we do have vacancies in our special education area and then a couple elementary and then a couple secondary,” Daria said.
The school system is offering $5,000 bonuses for what they refer to as a “high needs” teachers.
