TUSCALOOSA – Alabama starting quarterback Tua Tagovailoa was hurt in the last 3 minutes of the first half.
At first glance Tagovailoa had a bloody nose and could not put any weight on his leg. He was carted off the field and airlifted to St. Vincent’s Medical Center.
Tagovailoa suffered a dislocated hip with a posterior wall fracture. After the game head coach Nick Saban said this was a “freak accident”.
