TROOPERS IDENTIFY MAN KILLED IN WRECK THURSDAY

Alabama State Troopers say Daniel Riley Guin, 26, died after the ATV he was operating was struck by a pickup truck on U.S. Highway 82 around 6 p.m. Thursday.

Guin’s passenger, a 1-year-old child, was airlifted to Children’s of Alabama in Birmingham for treatment.

The pickup’s driver, Joseph Ryan Martinez, 26, of Gordo, was uninjured.

The crash happened on U.S. Highway 82 near the 40 mile marker, about 1 mile west of Northport.

Alabama State Troopers said they’re investigating the wreck.
