TRAIN DERAILS UNDER 15TH STREET IN TUSCALOOSA

Norfolk Southern officials are investigating a train derailment that happened this morning near the railroad crossing on 12th Avenue in Tuscaloosa.

The derailment, right under the bridge on 15th Street just before Queen City Avenue, happened around 10:35 a.m. The train was not carrying any hazardous material, and there were no injuries.
