TPD, FBI investigating weekend credit union burglary

Tuscaloosa Police Department investigators are looking into a burglary at the Tuscaloosa County Credit Union believed to have happened over the weekend.

According to a press release, employees contacted TPD after 7 a.m. Monday morning when they discovered signs of forced entry into the Seventh Street building.

Once inside, they found an undisclosed amount of cash missing and reported it stolen.

TPD officers are cooperating with the Federal Bureau of Investigation in this case.
