Alabama football fans may be able to enjoy a beer while watching the Crimson Tide play in Bryant-Denny Stadium in the near future.

SEC officials are meeting this week in Destin, Florida and are expected to discuss selling alcohol in stadiums.

At least 55 Football Bowl Subdivision teams offer alcohol at their stadiums, but none of them are a part of the SEC since the conference still prohibits concession stands from offering alcoholic products. The only way to get alcohol in an SEC stadium currently is to pay for premium seats. The only way that will change is if the league’s 14 team presidents and chancellors decide to vote for it.
