Tuscaloosa’s newest Halloween attraction, The Horror Tuscaloosa, is ready to keep patrons up at night all throughout the spookiest month of the year.

Opening Oct. 1, the haunted house attraction offers an adventurous experience for anyone after a frightfully fun time, said spokesperson Mark Bosch.

“It’s going to be just like some of the larger haunted houses (patrons have) been to before,” Bosch said. “It’s going to be a scary attraction, that’s for sure.”

In addition to the chills and thrills, the location will feature plenty of drinks, food and merchandise for purchase.

“We will have food trucks. We will have snacks and drinks for sale,” he said. “We will probably have some music playing. It will be a good time for everyone to come out.”

Children younger than 13 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Tickets are available for purchase in advance, and Bosch said that’s the best way to ensure patrons avoid long lines.
