Thanksgiving Day wreck kills teen from Arlington
A two-vehicle crash Thursday evening resulted in the death of a teenager from Arlington.
The crash happened on Alabama Highway 25 near the 5-mile marker, about 5 miles north of Pine Hill in Marengo County.
The 16-year-old was fatally injured when his car struck another vehicle driven by a man from Ralph. The teen, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene.
A 13-year-old passenger in the same car was also injured.
Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Highway Patrol Division are investigating the cause of the wreck.
