Testimony Underway in Alexius Foster Capital Murder Trial
Wednesday is the first full day of testimony in the capital murder trial of Alexius Foster. Foster is charged with killing his uncle, George Foster, who was found stabbed to death in June 2013.
Over most of the morning, jurors heard testimony from a former employee of George Foster who found his body the day of the murder. Both the prosecution and defense accuse the employee of lying to investigators about whether or not he had seen Foster at the crime scene.
The defense asked the employee, “Why didn’t you tell law enforcement that you saw the defendant at the house?”
He responded that he was “scared he might kill me, too.”
This afternoon will conclude the first full day of testimony.
WVUA 23’s Jack Royer will have complete coverage tonight on WVUA 23 News at 5 and 6.
