TERRI SEWELL MEETS CONSTITUENTS IN TUSCALOOSA TOWN HALL MEETING
U.S. Rep. Terri Sewell met with constituents today in Tuscaloosa to talk with them and discuss what is going on in Washington D.C.
The Democratic representative for the 7th Congressional District of Alabama held a town hall meeting this morning at the McDonald Hughes Community Center. It’s part of what she calls her Congress in Your Community annual town hall tour.
Sewell updated voters on what is going on at the U.S. Capitol. Her constituents also let her know what they are concerned about.
“I am very concerned about the prescription drugs going up instead of coming down,” Tuscaloosa resident Leanna Rowser said. “Yes I know I just wanted to ask her and see what her plans are for helping the poverty issues that is something really important.”
Tuscaloosa County is Sewell’s third stop on her 14-county tour.
