TEMPORARY EMERGENCY SERVICES NEEDS NEW SPACE HEATERS, WINTER CLOTHES

WVUA 23 News is teaming up with Temporary Emergency Services so those in need can stay warm over winter.

On Tuesday, TES was down to only six space heaters. On Wednesday, WVUA 23 kicked off its heater drive.

Heaters are available for anyone who lives in the city and needs a heater to stay warm, along with blankets coats, hats, socks, water bottles and scarves. TES is also in need of blanket and clothing donations.

Because of potential safety issues, TES requests only new space heater donations.

Temporary Emergency Services also needs children’s coats and winter clothing items.

If you’d like to donate, you can drop off those items at TES, located on 1705 15th St., Tuscaloosa.
