TEEN DENIED BOND IN 2017 MURDER CASE
Tuscaloosa County Circuit Court Judge Brad Almond on Tuesday denied a request to reduce the bond of a 17-year-old charged with murder.
Kendrick Marshall was arrested in July 2017, and is one of three suspects investigators believe killed Jennifer Nevin.
Marshall, 20-year-old Vida Confetti and 23-year-old Koran Lewis are accused of driving Nevin away from a party in Cottondale to a rural area off Watermelon Road before killing her.
According to the court documents, Marshall told authorities he and Lewis shot the victim, and Confetti told authorities she was involved in beating Nevin before she was shot.
Marshall said they killed Nevin because they thought she was setting them up to be robbed.
Marshall’s bond was set at $150,000 when he was arrested July 18, 2017.
