TEEN CHARGED WITH MANSLAUGHTER IN DEATHS OF ROD, PAULA BRAMBLETT

The teen driver who was behind the wheel in the crash that killed Auburn announcer Rod Bramblett and his wife Paula has been charged with manslaughter.

Auburn Police reported the arrest of 16-year old Johnston Edward Taylor. Authorities said the teen was speeding and tested positive for marijuana.

The Auburn Police Department received a report confirming the presence of marijuana in Taylor’s system.

The crash happened May 25 on Shug Jordan Parkway at the intersection of West Samford Avenue.

Taylor has been charged as an adult. He is in Lee County Jail where he is being held on $50,000 bond.
