A third person has been arrested and charged with capital murder in the death of 13-year-old Kei’lan Allen on Friday.

Jaden Zaire Jenkins, 19, is facing the same charges as 21-year-old Julian Lamont Gordon Jr. and 18-year-old James Deanthony Reed.

A second person is facing capital murder charges in the death of 13-year-old Kei’lan Allen on Friday.

Julian Lamont Gordon Jr., 21, is facing the same charges as 18-year-old James Deanthony Reed.

 

 


An 18-year-old is facing capital murder charges in the wake of a deadly shooting Friday evening that killed a 13-year-old boy.

Square in West Tuscaloosa and killing Kei’lan Allen, who was sitting in his bedroom.

Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit investigators said they believe the intended target was an older family member.

Reed was placed in the Tuscaloosa County Jail late Sunday. Because he’s been charged with capital murder, he has no bond.
